good 14068 | http://www.wildearthguardians.org If you love wildlife and nature then this is a good site. It is called Wild Earth Guardians. This is website and group are the product of two wildlife conservation groups joining together. The Forest Guardians and Sinapu, two regional conservation groups have joined forces to create a stronger organization to protect and restore the wild places, wildlife and wild rivers in the American West. Their goal is to pressure policy-makers and government agencies to better protect and restore the lands, wildlife and waters from the Great Plains and Desert Southwest across the Rockies and through out the United States. The site has wonderful videos, articles and links. The pages and links download really quickly. My children also loved the site and I think yours will too. * Ed:Thanks David :-) | David United States 2008-05-09 07:13:37 |

treat 14045 | http://www.comodo.com/products/free_products.html On one of my many searches for useful software (and free if possible), I was looking for a good antivirus and came across Comodo's website. Before, I was using Norton's security software, but found that it was causing me problems accessing content on legitimate websites (their firewall most likely the problem). So after the subscription expired, I replaced it with Comodo AntiVirus (and other products I am using from Comodo include Firewall Pro, BOClean (malware cleaner), and Verification Engine (authenticates websites so you know you're safe)). A feature of this software includes a detection tool regarding the safety of an application you run - you can accept it and categorize it, and also have Comodo remember your actions. The firewall seems to work well, too, as I now have no problems accessing legitimate sites to view content that was previously blocked (photos, video, etc.). The only software I did not continue to use is the antispam software (seemed a bit complex, and my email provider already does a good job). There are other products available (some fully free, and others for trial/purchase). I have to say that Comodo software is great as far as free licensed software goes. treat 14044 | http://www.crikey.com.au/ It's motto is "telling you what they won't" and its fairly accurate too. Crikey is an independent Australian news source so there is no bias on the information they put out. It features topics ranging from politics, media, business and sport and deals with current affairs home and abroad. My favourite new source (besides another independent Australian new source, SMH). | Joey Australia 2008-04-29 06:54:03 |

boss 14041 | http://www.missuniverse.com/ This is the official site for the Miss Universe Organization. Every year they organize and hold three competitions including Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. If I were boss of this site I would like to put a more detailed pages on each of the contestants. Color of site is fine but some of their sound for video clips is missing. | Tracey Canada 2008-04-28 06:16:03 |
good 14036 | http://www.towelday.kojv.net/ You have to love the people out there who see the quirkiness in life and celebrate it accordingly. This is a website dedicated to Towel Day,( May 25th) a day in remembrance of the late great Douglas Adams, author of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series. To mark Towel Day you simply take a towel with you everywhere you go )if you've read the books this makes perfect sense...)
The site is chock full of pictures of folks who have taken up the challenge and gone out about their daily business with a towel draped about their person. For me, Towel Day is right up there with International talk like a Pirate Day, but that's a whole other story. :) | Sylvia Australia 2008-04-28 06:05:37 |

spider 14033 | http://www.spidermetrix.com One thing that would be useful is in the profile section - the ability to change your country location so you can access relevant surveys, etc. when they come up that are pertinent to where you are currently living. I originally signed up in the US but don't live there anymore and want to be able to change my location. Once you've registered, it is impossible to make any location changes (changing the zip code does not change your country - I still show up as located in the USA). * Ed:Good questions George, perhaps the Chief Spider will see your posting and reply. | George United States 2008-04-26 07:28:28 |
